During my first year at GameTap, we were making new episodes of the Adult Swim classic Space Ghost Coast to Coast, which ran only in GameTap's original client software. When we made the move to the web, Space Ghost did not follow. Below are two of my favorite episodes.
Above: Twisted Sister front-man Dee Snider was Space Ghost's second-to-last guest in the GameTap incarnation of his series. I knew the end was near, but when I was writing this episode, I wasn't sure if it was going to be the last, hence the air of possible finality at the end of the show.
The final GameTap episode of Space Ghost Coast to Coast featured the Canadian pop-rock band Barenaked Ladies. They were very good sports, and endured thirty minutes of me grilling them, only so I could take much of what they were saying out of context, as is the Space Ghost way. I knew this was going to be the last episode, and so I did my best to send the Ghost out on a high note. I don’t know if he ever made it to Canada.
